Money raised for the event will go to the National Autism Association of Southeastern Ohio (NAASEO). The NAA’s mission is to educate and empower families affected by autism.
As many of you found out last year Autism is not covered by insurance so all treatments, medication and therapies is paid out of pocket by the family which can be very expensive. Money raised will help families get the proper treatment for their children they otherwise would not be able to provide.
On Tuesday, June 5th, NAA-SEO will host a FREE lecture and presentation by Raun K. Kaufman of The Autism Treatment Center of America.
As a child, Mr. Kaufman was diagnosed with severe autism and recommended for lifelong institutionalization. Instead, his parents developed The Son-Rise Program®, which enabled their son to completely recover from his autism with no trace of his former condition.
A graduate of the Ivy League’s Brown University with a degree in Biomedical Ethics, Mr. Kaufman has written articles featured in a host of books and journals and has been interviewed by media such as National Public Radio, Fox News Channel, and People Magazine.
